Distrito Hípico · Cancún

The first equestrian, sports and social club in the Mexican Caribbean.

A social and community epicentre for the people who live here.

Est. 2026

The club in 20 seconds

Two parcels, a 3,000 m² clubhouse, and one idea.

Zen Equestrian Club is a private sport, wellness and social club in Cancún's Distrito Hípico: a countryside enclave, away from the avenues and from the city that faces the tourist. It sits on two adjoining parcels — the wellness park and the equestrian centre — and its heart is a 3,000 m² clubhouse, given over to social, wellness, fitness and entertainment areas, for every age.

Inside, the spine of it is health that anticipates: regenerative and longevity clinics run under concession by certified third parties, nutrition, recovery and spa, and state-of-the-art fitness areas. It is resort standard, put at the service of the people who live here rather than the ones passing through.

Cancún passed a million residents and was built to receive the visitor, not to hold the life of whoever decided to stay. We are building inward: we are not offering access to facilities, we are convening a community.

Everyone, their place

Everyone has their place.

The club is not organised by age, but by the kind of day each person wants to have.

The equestrian side

Thirty years of it, under one roof.

The equestrian side is the soul of the club: it gives the place its character, its calendar and its name. And around that soul, everything else happens, any day of the week.

The central aisle of the club stables, horses looking out over the doors.

The equestrian operation is run by Centro Ecuestre del Caribe, founded in 1996, under a lifetime agreement with the club.

It is led by Lourdes Belaunzarán, national champion in 2008 and 2009, who has trained riders now on Mexico's national show-jumping team. The team includes its own equine vet and a head groom with experience in Wellington, Ocala and the Global Champions Tour.

The welfare of the horses is a founding principle of the club: no tourist rides, no mass recreational use. Here the horse is sport, training and therapy, always under professional supervision.

  • Show arena · 40 × 50 m
  • Training arena · 25 × 40 m
  • 8 competitions a year
  • Riding school: “Aprendiendo a montar”

The calendar

A club is measured by what happens inside it.

Amenities do not create community: they make it possible. What creates it is that something is always going on. That is why the club runs five programmes in parallel, all year.

  • Social. Calendar festivities, themed nights and private member events.
  • Sport. Equestrian, padel and tennis tournaments; training and challenges.
  • Networking. Business gatherings and tables with invited guests.
  • Wellness. Daily ZENTR®, yoga and pilates; longevity and nutrition.
  • Family. Holidays, school-free days and first riding lessons.

Who is building it

The team behind the project.

The club is being built by the same team that built Zen Park Residences: each of them at what they do, and all of them with finished work in Cancún.

The club's architecture follows the principles of the Passivhaus standard, with the same technical consultancy as Zen Park Residences.

How you join

How you join the club.

Nothing here is sold by the square metre, and no stable is sold to anyone: what is granted is a membership, a place in the club. It is an asset that outlasts you — extendable, inheritable, transferable and sellable — and every new member is reviewed by the admissions committee.

This first stage is the Black membership, at presale pricing. The way in today is the waiting list: you get project updates by email and you are among the first to hear the entry terms when the cap opens. Availability is limited.

A letter

A letter from the founding partner.

Cancún is a city of destinations, but not of encounters. Those of us who live here have no real social epicentre: a place of genuine belonging where daily life isn't fragmented.

It is time to build the place where Cancún's social identity is forged.
